Projects and Programs Committee

Overview 

The Projects and Programmes Committee is a key body established under the framework of this Constitution to oversee and drive initiatives aimed at achieving the association’s objectives. Members of this committee are appointed by the Executive Council and are subject to prior approval by the Senate.

To ensure the integrity and confidentiality of their work, members of the Committee are required to subscribe to an Oath of Office and an Oath of Secrecy, as stipulated in the first schedule of the association's Constitution. These oaths emphasize their commitment to upholding the principles and responsibilities entrusted to them while safeguarding sensitive information related to the organization's operations.

This Committee plays a vital role in the effective planning and implementation of projects and programs, aligning with the association's mission and long-term goals.

 

Responsibilities 

  • The Committee shall appoint a Deputy chairperson and secretary at its

            first meeting.

  • The committee shall be responsible for all projects and programmes of

            GRASAG contained in the GRASAG Policy document.

  •  A member of the Committee shall cease to be a member through resignation,

             proven infirmity of mind or body, death or when a prima facie case has

             been made against him.

  •  The members of the Committee shall perform any other function as may

             be assigned by the organs of GRASAG-KNUST.
