Yussif Suleman is a distinguished educator, researcher, and academic leader specializing in Applied Mathematics. With over seven years of dedicated experience in mathematics education, he has built a reputation for enhancing student learning outcomes and advancing the field through rigorous mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.

 

Professional Journey and Impact

As a professional teacher with about 15 years of teaching experience, Yussif Suleman has served as a Core Mathematics Teacher. He has notably improved student pass rates through innovative teaching methodologies and personalized mentorship as a teacher. His leadership extends beyond the classroom; he has mentored hundreds of students, developed structured curricula aligned with national standards, and significantly increased participation in mathematical extracurricular activities.

Yussif Suleman’s academic foundation is rooted in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)-Ghana, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics. His research portfolio highlights a commitment to solving real-world challenges:

  • MPhil Research: Mathematical Modeling of Spread and Examination of Future Impact of Vaccination on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disease.
  • BSc Research: Predicting Outcome of Under- Five Diarrhoea Incidence in Kumasi, Ghana Using Binomial Logistic Regression.

He is also a passionate advocate for peer mentoring and the continuous improvement of mathematics pedagogy in higher education. He again has interest in reading novels and reviewing articles.
