BIOGRAPHY

Ibrahim Alhassan is an accomplished Agriculture Technology Specialist with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in North East Ghana. He holds a robust portfolio in pest and disease management, crop production optimization, and integrated pest management (IPM). Currently pursuing an MPhil in Crop Protection with a specialization in Entomology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), he has a strong foundation in research and academic excellence.  As a co-founder of Grow Together Inc. Company Ltd., Ibrahim has demonstrated entrepreneurial leadership and a commitment to sustainable agricultural development. His experience extends to training pesticides and fertilizer dealers, managing pesticide stocks, and providing capacity-building support to farmers across six districts in the North East Region.  With his expertise, Ibrahim intends to contribute to GRASAG-KNUST by fostering professional growth and academic collaboration among postgraduate students. He aims to support initiatives that enhance research capacity, facilitate knowledge-sharing events, and promote skill development, such as workshops on academic writing, data analysis, and digital literacy. By leveraging his agricultural expertise and leadership skills, he seeks to empower the student community to pursue innovative solutions and achieve academic and professional excellence.
